In the bustling world of holistic wellness and beauty, Adel Codner stands out as a beacon of inspiration and empowerment.  .

Her remarkable career started out in the criminal justice system in 2004 working for the Youth Offending Team as an Appropriate Adult, Mentor and Reading Coach. In 2006 Adel started working as a Community Payback Officer a year later her career progressed as she became a Probation Service Officer. Her interactions with clients throughout her career taught her a valuable lessons about the vulnerability of those needing probation services and restorative justice with the community at large. She noticed the difficulties and limitations that those passing through the penal system had to endure in the struggle to re engage in society and the stigma attached.  

Her second passion was that of being a dedicated student of beauty and wellbeing.  Her passion and dedication brought her many new clients. The idea to bring learning opportunities to those leaving care, on probabtion or otherwise grappling with low income, unemployment and low self esteem seemed logical.  

A way of ensuring that she coud reach her identified beneficiaries was to create and launch a business dedicated to teaching.  Perfect U Academy was founded in 2023 and is a testament to her unwavering commitment to uplifting  members of the community who might be in need of new skills that can soon generate income for them and their families. .

Adel CEO and founder of Perfect U Academy, believes in the transformative power of wellness practices and self-care believing that it is essential to know that everyone is different and everyone matters.  

Is that Perfect U Academy, a suite of accredited and short courses will be delivered via a mobile and online educational service. The vehicles are kitted out to bring wellness and beauty education to the doorstep of those individuals in the community who would be on low income, leaving the criminal justice system, facing adversity, experiencing low confidence and self esteem.  

Is to empower the vulnerable by providing easily accessible routes to education and qualifications in Wellness and Beauty.  

Perfect U Academy's core philosophy centres on the belief that every individual is unique and valuable. Perfect U Academy is not only focussed on teaching beauty skills but also about nurturing self-esteem, confidence, and the ability to change the present, and create the potential for a better future. Those joining the academy will aspire to become self-employed or seek employment in the beauty industry which continues to grow exponentially.
